Schools On Target (SOT) has been serving Texas schools since 2005 and is celebrating 20 years serving Texas schools. SOT is based in Marble Falls, Texas. Our company is our passion, our efforts help protect our children and those who have dedicated their lives to educating them. We are a valuable asset to school districts through our services and relationships in order to provide assistance with the increasing regulations and requirements placed on school districts for safety and security. We work with local law enforcement as much as possible and promote community relationships between schools, law enforcement and other first responder agencies.
We provide Texas schools counter terrorism, safety, security, emergency management and cybersecurity consulting and services, Texas School Guardian training, active shooter training and emergency response training. We also provide SSRO's (School Security Resource Officer), and private investigation services.
Our Founder Jeff Sellers was born a protector. In his early school years Jeff served on the safety patrol and began studying martial arts. Jeff's martial arts studies carried into early adulthood where he learned various hand to hand combat skills in numerous styles and with weapons and later firearms. Jeff has served on personal protection details for VIP's, served in law enforcement, EMS and Fire. Jeff also served on the Governor's special security team with the TMD and is an NRA and DPS firearms instructor. Jeff became involved in emergency management when he was an Engineer for NASA. Jeff has extensive school safety & security experience.
Texas School Guardian Program
The "Guardian Plan" is the Texas School Guardian Program and was developed and trade marked by Jeff Sellers in 2009 and is the only provider of the program. We do not contract out instructors or other organizations to provide instruction. You may see other people advertise "Guardian" training but they are not teaching our Guardian Program which has been the standard since 2009.
