As part of the new laws passed in 2023, schools are permitted to obtain a private security license for the school district and hire security staff to meet eh armed person on a campus requirement. The State of Texas has certain requirements for level III commissioned security offices who work in schools beyond their basic 45 hour training. We provide this training. Our instructors are former and retired law enforcement and have state level certifications from various Agencies. All of our training takes place on our private ranch outside of Marble Falls, Texas.
Step 1 - District Security License
School districts can obtain a security license for the district at no cost through DPS.
A school must have a licensed Qualified Manager assigned tot heir license for the administration portion of the license. This is very difficult to obtain so we provide this service for a fee. Cost depends on number of officers assigned to the district license. NOTE: A Level III security officer can not work on their own, they must be assigned to a licensed company or district who has a valid security license.
We can assist schools with obtaining their district security license. We can also provide SOP's and other consulting to help set up your program.
